Contemporary Literature
This elective course focuses on popular adult fiction and non-fiction of the last two decades. Students will read and analyze contemporary novels and memoirs. Students will be expected to complete extensive reading assignments outside of class, complete assignments and projects over selected texts, and participate in daily class discussion. Students may be required to obtain novels assigned by the instructor. Class material will be more challenging and may be of a controversial nature.
