AP Calculus AB
AP Calculus AB is designed for students who will pursue advanced courses in mathematics or science and who wish to obtain a semester of advanced placement in college. The course extends students’ problem-solving abilities through topics traditionally offered in the first year of a college calculus course. The topics include limits, continuity, derivatives, and integrals of algebraic and transcendental functions and their applications, and elementary differential equations. A graphing calculator is required.
Honors Pre-Calculus
Honors Pre-Calculus is for the college-bound student who has completed Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. The course will expand the student's proficiency in analysis, trigonometry concepts, algebraic concepts, problem-solving, real and complex number systems, and elementary calculus. It is intended to prepare the student for college mathematics above algebra. This course is at an accelerated pace and contains more challenging problems. A graphing calculator is required.
