Hi there. My name is Shelly Hoop, and this is my fourth year at Licking Heights. I previously taught for 9 years in North Carolina, moving back to Ohio to be closer to my family. I have a supportive mother Leona, with an older sister, Debbie, her husband Tim, and a niece Kayla who is an ER nurse in Portsmouth. After graduating from River View High School, I attended The University of Rio Grande, in Gallipolis, Ohio on a volleyball scholarship, studying Physical Education and Health. I later earned my masters degree in administration from the University of West Florida. When I am not at school teaching, or officiating volleyball, I am playing volleyball or spending time with my family, which includes my Australian Shepherd, Angel.

Thanks for taking the time to learn about me, I look forward to working with your child.
