Katzman, Lauren

I have been at Licking Heights High School as a science teacher since August of 2010. I received my B.S. in Environment and Natural Resources from The Ohio State University in 2006, where I majored in wildlife management. Upon my graduation, I spent a brief time working for the Division of Wildlife. I soon moved into outdoor education as a naturalist at an environmental center. In 2010, I chose to go back to school to earn my Masters in Science Education from Ohio State.

As a science teacher at Licking Heights, I have found the perfect balance between my love of the outdoors and helping others grow their interests in their world as well. When I am not busy being a teacher, I love to read a good book or go hiking in the woods with my husband and our coonhound, Sam.
