This page will serve as your survival guide to eighth grade reading & language arts with yours truly. I hope to provide my students (and anyone else who wants to take a peek) with resources, class information and assignments, along with other tidbits to make your brains bigger, brighter, and better. I assure you, this will be the most memorable, rousing, and lively year you've had in reading & language arts yet. Let the fun and learning begin!

Current Class Happenings

As the school year draws to a close, eighth graders are completing their final unit regarding the Civil Rights Unit. This unit will allow students to address this time period in history through various readings, writing assignments, and oral projects. The unit will culminate with our annual eighth grade trip to Washington, D.C. on May 19 - May 22.
