LHHS intervention specialist receives Tibbie Leslie travel grant
Mr. Sean McCullough, intervention specialist, Licking Heights High School, was awarded a $2000 travel grant from the Licking County Foundation. Mr. McCullough plans to visit Slovenia and Greece in July, 2018, to conduct educational research and meet distant relatives with his grandmother.

This stipend is made possible by the Tibbie Leslie Travel Grant. Grants are awarded for foreign travel to broaden knowledge, experience and understanding in their particular field of interest.

The Tibbie Leslie Travel Grant was established through the will of Elizabeth Randolph Leslie of Newark, Ohio. A 30-year teacher of physical education at Withrow High School in Cincinnati, she returned to Newark every summer to visit her family then left for a trip abroad. This grant encourages area staff to continue such work in her honor.
