Taking advanced placement (AP) classes in high school can help you earn college credit alongside your diploma and lead to tuition savings as an undergraduate. Students who receive passing scores on these tests can earn college credit

AP Exam Timeline |
September | Students - join class sections using the join code from your AP teachers and choose yes or no to order your exam for $94 |
October | If your family’s annual income falls within the amount listed in the table below, you qualify for an AP Exam fee reduction. Please fill out a free/reduced lunch application for approval. (found in QUICK LINKS on lhschools.org) |
November 10 | Final day for students to order an exam (if you order after this deadline you will need to pay an extra $40 late fee) |
November 10 | Final day for students to cancel an exam (if you cancel after this deadline you are still responsible for paying the fee) |
December | Submit accommodation requests to AP coordinator (IEP & 504) |
December | Fees applied to student accounts $94 per test - submit fees as soon as possible |
January 17 | Final day to submit accommodation requests (IEP & 504) |
March 15 | Final day to order a late exam |
April 29 | Final day for AP coordinator to indicate fee reduction status (fee reduction applications need to be approved before this date) |
April 29 | Deadline for submitting fees (preferable method is EZ Pay) |
May | Exams administered (fees must be payed) |
June 20 | Final day for students to indicate the recipient of their free score report |
July | Score reports are available to students and schools |
