Advisor Profile

Rachel Fout
Rachel Fout is a mother, teacher, and artist. Currently, she is the kindergarten art teacher at Licking Heights North Elementary and the fifth-and sixth-grade art teacher at Licking Heights Central Intermediate. This is her tenth year in the district and 18th year in arts education. “The diverse student population at Licking Heights Local Schools motivated me to become a Diversity Council Advisor. Diversity surrounds us, it is a part of who we are, it affects how we learn, and it shapes who we become. When we take time to get to know our students, we should take time to not only learn about their preferred learning styles and what they know, but who they are and everything that makes them who they are culturally, economically, and emotionally.”

Vanessa Richardson
Vanessa Richardson has been an educator in the Licking Heights school district for 17 years. “I have seen many changes that have made this district unique in nature. The consistent growth of our district requires an equal amount of growth in the representation needed to help reach and impact students from our wide demographic. As a part of the District’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, I hope to reflect and represent more of what our students encounter in their homes and communities and bridge their personal experiences with those in the classroom."

Vicki Willett
Vicki Willett is the Technology Integration Specialist for Licking Heights Local Schools. Prior to that, she was a first grade teacher at Licking Heights West. She is currently the president of the Science Education Council of Ohio (SECO). Through SECO, her mission for her presidency is that of DEI, Science Is For Everyone. Mrs. Willett has worked with the Ohio Department of Education ensuring standards meet the needs of all learners, as part of the Standards Committee for both Science and for the Early Learning Standards. “I believe not only does every child deserve a quality education, but every child deserves the right to feel accepted and welcomed at school. My goal, as an advisor, is to be accessible to staff and students as both a supporter and confidant.”
