Licking Heights Local Schools prides itself on developing well-rounded students who receive a comprehensive educational experience. A key part of that experience is grounded in service to the Licking Heights community and the surrounding areas. We strive to provide our students with a wide range of volunteer and community service opportunities that allow them to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact.

The district, along with the Board of Education, requires all students to complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service as a graduation requirement. Students may also earn a Local Graduation Seal by completing an approved number of service hours throughout high school.

We value our partnerships with local agencies and organizations and welcome you to request student volunteers by completing the form on the side of this page.

To help us coordinate effectively, please submit volunteer requests 2–3 weeks in advance. Early submission increases the likelihood that we will be able to secure volunteers for your event. While we work hard to fulfill all requests, please understand that there may be times when we are unable to do so.

When students complete volunteer hours with your organization, they may send you a verification link through SchooLinks to confirm their participation.

In regard to requests for summer volunteers or coverage during times when school is not in session (such as Fall, Winter, or Spring Break), we will do our best to support your organization’s needs. However, please understand that these periods present significant challenges in securing volunteer coverage, and your request may not be filled.

Additionally, our staff is not regularly checking email during these breaks, so we cannot guarantee timely communication or confirmation of volunteer availability.
