PowerSchool

Access to your student’s current grades, attendance, and assignments is available online through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. You can log on to the Parent Portal at any time if you have internet access at home, work, or via a mobile device. If you do not have internet access, you may visit the school library to access your student’s information. 

Parents/Guardians: How to Create a Login (must use a Web Browser):

1. Open your Web browser to https://lhsd.powerschool.com/public/home.html 

2. At the login box, click on the Create Account tab, then click Create Account at the bottom.

3. Enter the following:

   1. First Name: Parent/Guardian first name

   2. Last Name: Parent/Guardian last name

   3. Email: Parent/Guardian email to receive notifications, username & password reset info

   4. Desired Username: a username for yourself

   5. Password: a password for yourself

   6. Re-enter password: (min 8 characters with 1 uppercase, lowercase, number, special character)

4. Go to Link Students to Account and type in:

   1. Student Name: Student’s First and Last Name

   2. Access ID: (Note: look at the Access and Setup paper copy you or your student received OR contact Mrs. Willett, the District Technology Integrations Specialist at [email protected]

   3. Access Password: Student’s ID number

   4. Relationship:

      1. Click Enter

      2. Repeat if you have more than one student (Note: each student has a Powerschool Parent Portal Setup letter)

Lost or Forgotten Username and/or Password:

1. Open your Web browser to https.lhsd.powerschool.com/public/ OR open the Mobile app

   1. The Login page appears

2. Click the Forgot Username or Password?

3. Click the Forgot Password? Tab or Forgot UserName? Tab

4. Enter your user name (for Forgot Password ONLY)

5. Enter your email address (for both Forgot Password and Forgot UserName)

6. Click Enter

7. A confirmation message appears and an email is sent with your username and instructions for resetting your password. (Note: this may appear in your Spam)

Mobile App Setup: (Note: you must first create your account via a web browser (see above))

1. Search the app store for PowerSchool Mobile

2. Download the app

3. Open the up

4. Enter the District Code (ZJPR)  you recorded from the web version of the PowerSchool Parent Portal 

   1. OR Search by District Name and/or School Name

      1. Using an Android App

         1. Open the PowerSchool Mobile app

         2. On the Sign In screen tap Help or the question mark in the upper right corner

         3. On the District Code Help screen, tap Search for Your District

         4. Enter the full district name or school name in the field(s) provided, and then tap Search

         5. On the Search Results screen, tap the correct district name

         6. On the District Details screen, tap Connect to this PowerSchool

      2. Using the iOS app

         1. Open the PowerSchool Mobile app

         2. On the Sign in screen tap Where’s my District Code?

         3. Select Search by School or District and then enter your school or district name in the search field

         4. Select the district when it appears on the screen

      3. Login using your Username and Password

Student’s Login Information

1. User ID: (Note: look at the Access and Setup paper copy you received along with the student’s schedule OR contact Mrs. Willett [email protected]

2. Password: Student ID number
