If your child is 5 years old by September 30 and lives in the Licking Heights Local School District, they are eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year. Kindergarten screening is mandatory to determine your student's readiness for school.
This year, we will have two additional kindergarten screening sessions from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 1 and Aug. 2 at Everest Elementary, 1490 Climbing Fig Dr.
Appointments only take about 30 minutes and consist of a brief academic screener. Students will work one-on-one with a teacher and will answer questions about numbers, letters, colors, and do a series of basic fine motor activities.
If your student already completed kindergarten screening in April 2024, they do not need to do an August appointment as well. Sign your student up by
