About the Teacher
My name is Brian Dorsten and I am extremely excited about the upcoming school year. I began my teaching career in 2005. I have taught math and social studies in grades 5-12 at Celina City Schools, Lancaster City Schools, and Groveport Community schools. For the PLP -
1. Participate
2. Complete the assignments by the due date
3. Respond to messages
4. Read the directions
5. Find a quiet place so you can focus
6. Ask when you need help
For Zoom Meetings -
1. Be on time
2. Be Prepared
3. Turn video ON and audio OFF
4. Dress appropriately
5. Sit like you're at school
6. Be respectful
7th Math/ Pre-algebra
- Throughout the year we will be covering a number of topics which include: Number Sense, Measurement, Geometry, Data Analysis, Algebra, and Probability
Homework
Homework will be given on almost a daily basis. Students will be expected to complete the problems assigned, on time, and to show their work. Homework will be used as practice for quizzes, tests, or projects.
Quizzes/ Tests
Quizzes or Tests will be given to assess students’ learning throughout the week.
