Brand Standards and Licensing

Thank you for your interest in working with the Licking Heights brand. We appreciate your interest in sharing Hornet pride with our community. Our goal is to establish, protect, and foster a consistent brand that reflects our commitment to students and the respect, diversity, and community our district is built upon.

Our logo and other brand elements are copyrighted and as such, all persons, organizations, and businesses wishing to use them may do so only with the District’s permission. Creation, application, or use of the Licking Heights Local Schools logo and other brand elements must conform to approved standards as authorized by Licking Heights Local Schools. Additionally, it is imperative that the Licking Heights Local Schools logo and other brand elements are used properly on all merchandise, web presence, printed materials, signage, etc. in a quality manner.

Please use the letter template below and fill in the appropriate information to request necessary permission to use Licking Heights copyrighted logos and brand elements. Send completed request letters by either mail or email to Anna L. Davies, our district Communications Specialist.

Upon receipt of your request, our district administrative team will ordinarily be in contact within 5-7 business days to let you know if permission has been granted. Please review our guidelines for logo use and brand standards before filling out your permission request.

Please note that we require an annual monetary fee prior to any use of our logo.

Guidelines Overview for Logo Use:

Only the Approved Logos below may be used. No alterations to the Approved Logos will be permitted.
The logo must retain the original and official logo colors in any re-printing.
If the logo is resized, it must retain its original properties and proportions.
If additional text is added near the logo, it must not appear to be part of the logo.
The logo may not be rotated or flipped in any way.
Do not rearrange the symbol and logotype relationships.
The logo must be used in a manner that is educationally appropriate and that conforms with the Licking Heights Local School District Board of Education’s policies and mission.
