Fountas & Pinnell Leveling Information
Students are given the Fountas & Pinnell Benchmark Assessment 3 times every school year- Fall, Winter and Spring. This assessment is used to find out a student's reading level along with their strengths and weaknesses as reader. The level expected for each grade level are as follows:

****Students that fall below expected levels in 1st- 3rd grade will be considered and possibly screened further for Title I services, which is extra reading intervention in addition to regular classroom instruction.
