Mrs. Barnett has been teaching at Licking Heights her entire teaching career. She started out teaching first grade for two years before moving to second grade and teaching there for ten years.Now, she is teaching third grade. Mrs. Barnett graduated in 2003 from Ohio University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has continued her education by attending Ashland University, where she earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and her Gifted teaching endorsement. Mrs. Barnett continues to attend classes and read current literature to stay current on the new teaching methods.
