6th Grade Beginning Band

LHC 6th Grade Beginning Band

6th Grade Beginning Band is our entry level band class here at Heights. This class/performing group is open to any student grades 6-8 who would like to begin to become part of the instrumental music program at Licking Heights. The majority of this class will be incoming 6th graders, who have not had a chance to start band yet. Instrument selection will take place within the first few weeks of school and the best "fit" between instrument and child will be determined, if the student didn't go through the fitting process in the previous Spring. This class is a year long class, and is divided into 2 separate class periods, Woodwind Class and Brass/Percussion Class.
