My name is Mrs. Richardson. It is hard to believe that I have been teaching kindergarten at Licking Heights since 2004. These years have gone by so fast. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2004 with my bachelors in Early Childhood Education with a concentration on reading and language arts. In 2005 I received my masters in Early Childhood Education from Ohio State. Within the last 2 years I am proud to say I became a National Board Certified teacher. It was a long process but I am a better teacher for it.
In my free time I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends. In my spare time you’re likely to catch me at the movies, shopping and a few times a year the gym. I have never met a carb I did not like and would happily go on a food tour any day of the week. I’ve been known to sing and dance. Most times students join in on the silliness but sometimes I am a party of one. I truly love what I do and have always wanted to be a teacher from an early age. Colleagues and former students describe me as fun, loving and firm. My goal is to instill in each child a love for learning and exploring.
