I am a 1982 graduate of West Liberty State College, West Liberty, West Virginia with a bachelors in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. I also received a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio in 2000. I have been working in special education for over 30 years. I started out teaching in a preschool for special needs children and typically developing siblings. I worked there for 6 years. From there I taught at Franklin County Board of MRDD at their Northeast School in Gahanna for 10 years. I came to Licking Heights in the 1998-1999 school year and have taught children from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. I enjoy teaching and working with young minds here at Licking Heights and hope to continue for many more years!
