Supervisor of DEI, Mr. Corey Stroud
Mr. Stroud has served in Licking Heights as an Administrator since 2018, first as an assistant principal and then as principal at the middle school level. He graduated from an exceptional HBCU (Kentucky State), and received his Masters Degree from The Ohio State University. He transitioned into the new position of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the fall of 2021, and he is very excited about his new role. He brings several years of experience and enthusiasm to the DEI position. He is passionate about meeting the needs of all learners, as well as establishing relationships with families and stakeholders of the District. He is a member of the Licking County NAACP, and his mission, along with that of the District, is to ensure that students are receiving what they need to achieve success. He believes in treating people like he wants to be treated, and models that behavior through positive interactions with others. He is an advocate for all students, and will be a driving force of the District’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives.
