Principal Kurt Scheiderer, [email protected]
 
Mr. Scheiderer joined Licking Heights in 2013 as the principal of South Elementary. Mr. Scheiderer began his teaching career for Columbus City Schools where he taught third and fourth grades from 1997-2001. After leaving Columbus, he returned to his alma mater in Reynoldsburg, where he taught third grade and worked as an intervention specialist until 2005. For the next eight years, Mr. Scheiderer served as Dean of Students, Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal for Reynoldsburg City Schools.
 
Mr. Scheiderer graduated from Capital University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. He earned his Master’s degree in Classroom Instruction and Literacy from Ashland University in 2004. Mr. Scheiderer continued his education at Dayton University where he earned his Principal’s License in 2010. He currently holds a Pre K-12 Principal’s License as well as a 1-8 Teaching License and Reading Endorsement.

Mr. Wilkinson grew up in Pataskala and is a graduate of Licking Heights.  He graduated from Capital University with a degree in Elementary Education.  His graduate degree was from Ashland University in Education Administration.  Mr. Wilkinson has been an educator for over twenty years.  He has taught students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.  Many of those years teaching were as a Language Arts and Social Studies teacher.  

He also has prior experience as a middle school and an elementary school administrator.  In addition, he has coached for many years at the middle school and high school levels.  

In his spare time, Mr. Wilkinson enjoys spending time with his two daughters and his wife.  His hobbies include reading, playing golf, and exercising.

Instructional materials
Any person or group, having a legitimate interest in the operations of Licking Heights Local Schools, has the right to present a request, suggestion, or complaint concerning the educational program or the operations of the district. Requests must be put in writing and should be initially addressed to the building principal. Members of the public may also inspect instruction materials by requesting an appointment with the building principal. If the request, suggestion, or complaint relates to instructional materials such as books, textbooks, or other instructional aids used in the District, the information should include author, title, and sections objected to. This information will be forwarded to the district office and reviewed by an administrative committee.
