In this course we will write a research paper, learn research skills, and discuss novels, poetry and write about what we read. We will explore short stories, poems, plays, and non-fiction articles that help us to understand central themes within literature and spotlight the human condition. Highlights of this course include: The Native American Creation Myths, The Great Gatsby, All the Presidents Men and various poetry by American poets.
