6th Grade Social Studies

Welcome to 6th grade Social Studies! This year we will spend time discussing ancient history dating back to the earliest civilizations. We will also explore different types of government, religions, and geography skills. Even though we will be talking about some really old people and places, this will be a fun year if you come to class willing to learn every day!

Hello! I am a graduate of Licking Heights HS and lived in the community for most of my life. This is the only school I attended and the only one I have worked at. I have a great deal of pride in being from Summit Station/Pataskala and being a Hornet! After high school I attended Ashland University for both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. I have been teaching at LH since 1997 and have coached wrestling, softball, baseball, and football in my time here. I have a wonderful wife and children who make my life better every day. My daughter Hayden is 6 and my son Tyson is 3. Both love to visit Daddy's school whenever they get the chance!
