Miss Poff is excited to begin her third year as District Librarian with the Licking Heights School District.

 

After a year of teaching Library Concepts to the 5th graders at North Elementary, Miss Poff is now stationed at Licking Heights High School along with Mr. Joe Kapcar.  The LHHS Library Media Center welcomes Mr. Kapcar, who services as the Technology Specialist for students.

 

Before Miss Poff came Licking Heights, she was the School Library Media Specialist at Bunsold Middle School in the Marysville Exempted School District.  At Bunsold, she taught mini-course in Study Skills, Effective Internet Searches and Internet Safety.  Miss Poff also co-taught units on Rocks and Minerals, Biographies, World Explorers as well as mock, mock trials on the Lincoln Assassination Conspirators trial and the Sanity Trial of The Tell-Tale Heart Narrator.

 

When Miss Poff isn't in the library, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, travelling and genealogy.
