Course Description:
1 credit; full year
Physics is the study of physical phenomena and the mathematical laws governing them. Topics include motion, forces, vectors, momentum, energy, waves and optics, electricity, and magnetism. Record keeping, mathematical skills and reasoning skills, and conceptual skills are taught. Laboratory experience and lecture material are coordinated topic wise. A scientific calculator is required.
Prerequisite: Successful completion Algebra I or a higher math class
