Ms. Bezbatchenko, or Ms. Bez, teaches Dual Enrollment American History (College Credit Plus), AP US Government & Politics, and American Government. She received a Bachelors of Science from the University of Dayton in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University in History. Ms. Bez's favorite areas of History are Women's History, the Civil Rights movement, the Cold War, and Pop Culture.
Students taking this course will receive high schools credit and college credit from Columbus State Community College. History 1152 is a survey of the development of the United States from post-Civil War turmoil to a political, industrial and cultural world power in the twentieth century
This course introduces students to key political ideas, institutions, policies, interactions, roles, and behaviors that characterize the political culture of the U.S. The AP GoPo exam will be on May 4, 2017.
