Mark Rader
Mark Rader began his service to the Licking Heights Local Schools Board of Education in January, 2018. Mark previously served as the Vice President of the Board of Education in 2019 and 2020. He served as President in 2021, and was re-elected that same year. Mark is a 1989 graduate of Licking Heights High School, coming from a family of lifelong residents of the school district. He has worked for Worthington Industries for more than 25 years, currently as a project planner.
Before his election to the Board of Education, Mark was
past-president of the Jersey Tractor Pullers and had three national NQS points
championships. His hobbies include tractor pulling, engine building, and
spending time with his teenage daughter Alexis.
Mark’s educational interests lie in buildings and grounds, technology labs, post-secondary skills development,
and providing a safe learning environment for all students.
