The Board of Education shall permit students from other Ohio school districts to apply and enroll in the District schools free of any tuition obligation, provided that all provisions of the District's policy and all procedures outlined in the administrative guidelines are met, including capacity limits by building, grade level, and educational programs, and maintaining appropriate racial balances in each school. March 1 - Parent information available.
April 1 - First day to receive applications for open enrollment transfer requests for the 2021-2022 school year.
May 1 - Application deadline closed for interdistrict open enrollment. Parents requesting that their child begin the 2021-2022 school year must submit the application for open enrollment no later than Apr. 30.
June 30 - All requests submitted by Apr. 30 will be acted upon no later than June 30. Parents and superintendents of other Ohio districts will be notified of approvals.
Within two weeks of approvals - Parents must sign and return the interdistrict transfer acceptance form within two weeks of notification of acceptance. Failure to do so will void the application.
