Brittany Morgan, MSW, SSW, LISW-S
Hello! I'm Brittany Morgan, and I love being a part of the vibrant Licking Heights community. With a passion for social work and a steadfast commitment to creating positive change, I am dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals and families within our school community. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and bring over a decade of experience as a Licensed Social Worker (LISW-S). My journey in social work began as a case manager for foster care families, followed by writing home studies for adoptive families. In 2016, I transitioned to the role of a school-based social worker and began providing mental health support to elementary aged students in 1 on 1 and small group settings.
In my role as the School Social Worker for grades K-4 at Licking Heights, I can help connect families with essential community resources, facilitate small group social-emotional learning sessions for students, and provide support to families and students facing challenges in regular school attendance.

Jayshree Murali, MSSA, LISW-S
Jayshree Murali is a seasoned and compassionate Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) currently serving as a school social worker for grades 5-12. With a rich academic background and over 15 years of experience in mental health and education, Jayshree brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.
Jayshree's educational journey began at Annamalai University, where she studied psychology and education. She furthered her education by earning a Master's degree in Social Services and Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
Throughout her career, Jayshree has held various roles within social service organizations, demonstrating her dedication to improving the lives of individuals and families. Her extensive experience includes positions as a mental health specialist, clinical therapist, family clinician, direct care manager, and advocate.
Jayshree's passion for education and advocacy led her to transition into public education, where she has made a significant impact as an Intervention Specialist and Special Education Social Worker. In these roles, she worked tirelessly to ensure that students with diverse needs received the support and resources necessary to succeed academically and socially.
With her diverse background and unwavering commitment to supporting the well-being of students, Jayshree is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
Ashley Huizinga, LSW
Ashley is our school social work intern currently pursuing her Master's in Social Work at The Ohio State University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Capital University and is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a strong commitment to serving her community.
At Heights, Ashley works across South and West Elementary, Central Intermediate, and the middle school. Her deep connection to our district extends beyond her internship, as she attended Heights K-12 herself.
With a passion for supporting the holistic well-being of students, Ashley hopes to continue her career in school social work after earning her masters. She believes in the power of education and supportive environments to empower individuals and communities, and she is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of students she serves.
