Goal 1: Staff Retention

Indicators of Success: 
  1. Systems for yearlong induction and professional learning experiences for staff in all classifications that provide personalized support and that align with the core beliefs and values of the district
  2. Stay interview and focus group baseline data
  3. Monthly recognition of staff 

Action Items for 2024-2025
  1. Establish professional development cohorts for all new staff
  2. Conduct stay interviews and focus group sessions once a year
  3. Continue the implementation of a staff recognition program and track monthly submission data

Goal 2: Staff Recruitment

Indicators of Success: 
  1. A recruiting process that aligns with the core beliefs and values of the district 
  2. A workforce that more closely reflects the diversity of the student and community population
  3. Staff progress towards educator licensure
  4. Data showing increased applications based on social media and website engagement
Action Items for 2024-2025
  1. Attend and host recruitment fairs that target a diverse workforce 
  2. Fully implement the district’s applicant tracking system 
  3. Support individualized pathways to educator licensure including a Grow Your Own pathway for students
  4. Consistently utilize all marketing and communication tools to share vacancy information 

Goal 3: Staff Care and Well-Being

Indicators of Success: 
  1. Needs Assessment survey and baseline data for staff experience
  2. Positive staff experience that indicates a sense of belonging and empowerment, where staff feel physically, psychologically, and emotionally safe 
  3. Data analysis from implementation of the exit interview process
  4. Data showing an increase in utilization of Employee Assistance Program

Action Items for 2024-2025
  1. Conduct a Comprehensive Needs Assessment to collect baseline data for the staff experience
  2. Implement a standardized exit interview process for all staff that includes a digital resignation tool that collects exit data
  3. Regularly promote services provided by our Employee Assistance Program
