Return LLI (black and white books) in folders each day. Students will not receive a new book if they do not return the previous day’s book.

8-10 books: Prize
6-7 books: Pencil
5 books: Bookmark
If fewer than 5 books are read, then parents/guardians will be contacted.
I will ONLY check reading logs on Fridays to see how the students did for the week. Once I check the logs, I will place a stamp on top of the title of the book. We will celebrate at the end of the 10 lessons!
On occasion, I will keep folders on Friday. The students will read their book with me, and I will sign their logs.
If you have a note for your child to give me, please make sure it is on the top in the folder so I can see it.
The Parent Letters and Fold Sheets contain activities for you and your child to complete at home. Your child can return the packet once it is complete. *Not all activities on the Parent Letter will be given (letter books, game cards, etc.). The Parent Letters were made by the program developer, not me. Sometimes we will complete fold sheets during group. All games can be made at home. If you need suggestions on how to make them, please let me know.
Please keep folders neat and clean. The only materials in the folder should be: book, reading log, word cards (once given), and returned Fold Sheet if applicable. This is the student’s responsibility!
