ASTHMA
Asthma is a chronic disease that can be serious and life-treatening. It makes it hard to move air in and out of your lungs. This causes inflammation or swelling to your airways, expecially with irritants or triggers. Effective Asthma management can help students stay healthy, learn better, and participate fully during the day.
It is important to fill out an
Asthma Action Plan
form
for your child so staff know how to manage and treat your child in the event of an exacerbation.
The
Asthma Self Administration Form
will also need to be filled out to administer medications to your child while they are in school. Please provide the clinic with their needed medication and physician orders.
